Performs administrative support-oriented job duties; resolves a variety of support-related questions and problems; performs duties such as file maintenance, managing inventory, typing, preparing reports, conducting correspondence, distributing information, conducting administrative-related research and computation, and managing office procedures.

  • Schedules various appointments ensuring administrative details are completed; receives and responds to calls; refers callers to appropriate personnel; often serves as the primary contact for a division, department, or the organization
  • Performs file maintenance, schedules appointments, reception, inventory management, typing, report preparation
  • Reviews and responds to a variety of correspondence as assigned; drafts replies to such correspondence with minimal instruction
  • Assesses office procedures and makes necessary changes in order to improve office functioning; may assume responsibility for training, assigning and checking work of less senior and/or general clerical/support staff
  • Order and coordinate delivery of supplies for operations of the facility


High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and a minimum of two years of administrative support-related experience.  Advanced skills in MS office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) preferred.
