Description Manages daily district Operations activities and Leads an Operations Team consisting of Completion Supervisors, Wellsite Consultants and Vendors required to execute well operations from drilling rig release until the well(s) are ready to be turned over to production. Through those direct and indirect reports; manage well completions including fracturing, wireline, CTU, rig operations, and other services required to stimulate the well and initially produce the well during the flowback period after frac. Manage resources for well interventions for improving production which include but not limited to well plug/sleeve removal, installing or replacing artificial lift equipment, wellbore and surface integrity repair.

This includes ensuring services are available when needed and ensuring that they are performed to operational, safety and environmental standards as well as all local, state and federal laws. Manage those that approve field invoices that affirm work was performed to desired standards and that pricing is in accordance with current contracts/agreements. Manage those that document completion/workover activities and costs in Open Wells or current database being utilize, and that data is accurate. Duties include reporting incidents through the chain of command and completing reports for non-standard work such as operational, safety, or environmental incident reports or other reports as directed by management. Duties also include reviewing well completion/workover procedures for approval. Duties include reviewing well performance, previous completion/workover procedures, and making recommendations on best practices.

This manager will negotiate contracts with vendors, ensure internal contract and billing practices are followed, work with teammates in drilling and production so there is a smooth transition from drilling to operations and again from operations to production. Is a key point of contact for Landowners, Federal, State and Local governmental agencies and outside production and gathering companies within the area of operation. Not a first line supervisory position and will ensure completion/workover activities are performed in accordance with internal controls which include but are not limited to, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Procurement, Human Resources, Safety, Environmental, and Legal.

Requirements Candidate should possess post high school education and at least 25 years energy development experience. Experience in completion of horizontal oil wells in the Williston Basin is required. Ability to effectively manage and direct a team with diverse skills and personalities. Deep knowledge of completions operations. Excellent communication skills.
