An engineer is required to participate in the operation, and optimization of a large natural gas gathering and processing asset, located in the productive Piceance Basin in the Rocky Mountains.  Excellent recreational opportunities, low taxes, and a highly empowered, engaged workforce make this a very desirable position with one of the natural gas industry's leading midstream companies. 

 

Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be directly involved with gas gathering systems and a cryogenic gas processing plant containing natural gas liquid recovery, treating systems, gas turbine and gas engine driven compression equipment, product storage, and shipping facilities.   In addition, the position will be a member of the basin wide optimization team, responsible for identifying, evaluating and assisting in the execution of global system improvements.

                          

The successful candidate must be able to

·         Work seamlessly with the Operations, Maintenance and Marketing organizations to safely operate, maintain and optimize the plant facilities. 

·         Create effective operating procedures and parameters. 

·         Coordinate efforts to improve plant efficiencies and reduce operating costs. 

·         Provide technical input to the planning and implementation of plant maintenance projects. 

·         Facilitate troubleshooting efforts and coordinate the support other technical disciplines. 

·         Plan and manage local maintenance projects, while meeting schedule and budget constraints. 

·         Coordinate Operational input with Marketing and Engineering & Construction department on new projects. 

·         Provide technical assistance for regulatory compliance, safety support, and technical training initiatives. 

·         Provide troubleshooting, analysis, and engineering modeling support for plant facilities. 

·         Develop economic analysis on process improvements.

 Qualifications:

·         Bachelors degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering

·         Recent, gathering and processing facility experience is a plus

·         Must possess strong communication skills, enjoy working with a team, and be able to work independently.

 

Position may be filled at a level and salary commensurate with skills, knowledge and abilities.

 

This position will be located in Parachute, CO
