This Facilities Engineering position will provide essential engineering support for the Eagle Ford operations and evaluation to direct future investment in the area. The position will be responsible for supporting the design, planning, specification, and construction support for onshore production facilities in conventional and unconventional developments.

A self motivated individual with well developed planning, technical and teamwork skills is essential. Field experience and skills in project planning, permitting, crude oil and gas operations, gas separation and compression, production vessel design and construction, pipeline design and construction, safety and environment and problem solving is preferred. 

Position will be based in San Antonio but travel to the field locations and Houston office will be required.

  • The primary role will be to support the Eagle Ford Asset Team in the engineering of new production facilities and modifications / maintenance of existing facilities with emphasis on continued improvement and reliability.
  • Plan and coordinate construction schedules and methods to meet milestones and budgetary limits
  • Provide the associated cost estimates for the facility portions of all Eagle Ford development projects
  • Promote a positive and constructive workplace. Interact with other team members in a manner that will help build respect and achieve goals. Communicate progress, problems, needs, and successes to fellow teammates and management.
  • Trouble-shoot, analyze and solve problems as they arise. Learn from all situations, listen to others ideas and apply solutions to future projects.
  • Work cooperatively as a team member on a multi-discipline team to evaluate the feasibility and cost of projects, in conjunction with subsurface, land, permitting, drilling, facilities, HES, and San Antonio-based operations team
  • Be proactive with continuous learning in all areas, especially emerging technology
  • Project management of engineering activities, including inter-disciplinary coordination, contractor management, and operational interfaces.  Able to provide clear project definition, communication, and objectives.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; Mechanical or Chemical Preferred

Experience: Five plus (5+ ) years of industry experience required with some amount of project management experience preferred

Computer Skills: General computer skills and basic experiences with word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications are required
