The successful candidate will join the Engineered & Applied Technology Group: a team of Gas and Liquid Measurment, Dehydration, Flares and Controls subject matter experts.  This position is a working developmental role supporting our Gas and Liquid Measurment Subject Matter Experts, E & C and the franchises working with field and office based technical personnel as needed during measurement facility design, operation, and mainteance as well as during troubleshooting efforts and correcting operational issues to achieve high reliability and accuracy of the product measurment.  The person in this role will further their exisitng technical knowledgeable in the Williams Midstream standards, policies, procedures and processes.

 

The person in this role, through formal training and self study, will enhance their skills, knowledge and abilitites to further their development and understanding of both gas and liquid measurment throughout the entire measurment preocess.  This will include measurement contract language, new connects, electronic flow measurement (EFM), measurement equipment, programming, interfaces with software systems for data transfers, balance (mass and volume),equipment sizing, installation, Operation and Maintenance requirements.  This person will develop an intricate understanding of the control and communications systems related to measurment as well as the physical measurement processes and related hardware.

 

The person in this role, through ehancement of their current knowledge via formal training, on the job training and self study, will learn about and develop a detailed understanding of all the aspects of gas and liquid measurment to potentially progress  into a future subject matter expert (SME) role. 

 

This position reports to the Engineered and Applied Technology Manager.

 

 

Qualifications:

BS in engineering preferred but not required.

A minimum of 5 years of prefessional experience is required
