Responsibilities:
This role will be responsible for providing daily scheduling duties which include validation of contract rights, capacity rights and confirmation of nominations with other pipeline operators. Additional duties include acquiring thorough business knowledge and skills associated with the Gas Management duties and responsibilities. 

Accountabilities may include but are not necessarily limited to the following:

·         Successfully complete all scheduling and confirmation processes of customer nominations accurately and within industry timelines

·         Validate and analyze data, identify discrepancies, take appropriate actions within stated timelines to resolve discrepancies working with internal and external parties.

·         Meet all public posting requirements.

·         Complete reconciliation of scheduled quantities with other pipeline operators and coordinate reconciliation efforts with gas accounting and gas management representatives.

·         Daily Plans are distributed at the end of each scheduling cycle to Gas Management, Pipeline Control and Field Operations.

·         All predetermined scheduling practices need to be followed and completed successfully within stated timelines.

·         Successfully complete all pre-approved Gas Management Rep I and Rep II training activities within preset timelines.

 

Key Activities may include but are not necessarily limited to the following:

·         Validate customer nominations for contract compliance, capacity availability, priority of service and confirm with other pipeline data within industry cycle timelines.

·          A shift day requires starting at 10:00 am and continues until last cycle is completed, approximately 12 hours in duration. A shift schedule will include several days over a weeks time period, including weekends and holidays.

·         Reconcile scheduled quantity data with other pipeline operators, coordinate with gas management and gas accounting representatives.

·         Provide system administrator responsibility on other pipeline operator websites and scheduling systems.

·         Close coordination with other Gas Management Representatives, other pipeline operator's and customers.

·         Accurately confirm all nominations with pipeline operators, identifying and resolving all discrepancies within industry timelines.

·         Maintain accurate desktop procedures and training instructions.

·         Maintain accurate and timely critical reports generated by the scheduling group in designated data repository.

·         Participation in Gas Management training exercises including daily morning status calls, learning to use and update imbalance management spreadsheets as well as other activities to develop necessary gas management skills.

 

Qualifications:

·         Bachelor’s degree required;

·         Must have unique ability to analyze, find discrepancies and take actions to resolve discrepancies within a very short period of time;

·         Good computer skills using latest software tools (Word, Excel, Adobe, Internet Explorer, AIM);  

·         Good computer skills using interactive systems- including Midstream GasKit, LiveLink systems as well as several third party interactive systems preferred;

·         Must be able to work effectively within a team environment with strict deadlines to be meet and work with several parties at the same time to resolve issues;

·         Must have excellent communication skills - verbal, writing and listening skills.

·         Must be able to take responsibility for actions, be proactive in responding to issues.
