Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Operate a company hotshot truck and/or trailer transporting tools and equipment to and from sites.
  • Load and deliver equipment to various locations, including trailer and skid mounted blow out preventers, power swivel units, tubular goods and fishing and rental tools.
  • Plan and organize daily work activities including travel times with multiple pick-ups and deliveries.
  • Maintain all equipment associated with hotshot truck and trailer.
  • Deliver product to each of the designated stops on assigned route and communicate any delivery issues to the proper authority.
  • Unload product safely and in customer designated areas.
  • Follow guidelines and policies set forth by MBI and customers.
  • Operate within DOT and company regulations at all times, including tie downs on loads.
  • Able to drive a company vehicle and have a valid driver's license.

 

Required Skills

  • Must have a CDL, 1 year of experience preferred.
  • Prior load securement experience preferred.
  • Must have good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to work in a team environment.
  • Must be able to perform the essential functions in a fast paced and high stress environment.
  • Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to work with current and potential customers, both internal and external.

Education

High school diploma, GED or equivalent.
