IT Analyst III

Duties focus on timely application development using sound object oriented programming.  Applicant must be able to translate business requirements into functional code.  Applicant must be able to perform multiple steps of the software development lifecycle for a small enterprise application assisting with important regulatory compliance initiatives.  Applicant must have demonstrated competency in Java EE development and application implementation, preferably with enterprise systems in web environment.  Skill set must include some Oracle database expertise to design and create views and stored procedures, when necessary.  Candidate must be committed to proper version control and adequate change management documentation. Some application support is necessary.    Business analysis skills are helpful to augment technical skills in creating functional applications meeting defined business requirements.  Knowledge of Java 1.6, Tomcat, JSF, Livelink, Active Directory, and ICEfaces are preferred.

  • Programming - Java 1.6.
  • Database - Oracle.

      Job Qualifications/Technology Requirements:

       

      • 5-7 years related experience in business application development using Java
      • Java Enterprise Edition (Java EE)
      • Java Server Faces (JSF) – (experience preferred but not mandatory)
      • Apache Tomcat 6
        • Web server experience mandatory
      • ICEfaces – (experience preferred but not mandatory)
      • Oracle 9, 10, 11
        • SQL Plus
        • PL/SQL Development
        • Development platform, such as DB Visualizer or TOAD
      • Livelink integration experience is helpful but not necessary
      • Windows Active Directory integration experience is helpful but not necessary

       

      Minimum Degree Required:

       

      Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience.
