The Manager of Inventory will plan, organize, direct, manage, and evaluate departments responsible for inventory and implement the inventory management policies for the different facilities within MBI. The Manager of Inventory is responsible for identification of opportunities for inventory operational improvements and implementing inventory controls within all facilities of the company. The Manager of Inventory will be responsible for inventory in multiple MBI locations to ensure the goals of the company are being adhered to.


Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Develop and communicate inventory management policies and procedures.
  • Monitor inventory levels and inventory movement using RTA for multiple locations.
  • Review compiled inventory reports of quantity, usage, cost, etc..
  • Manage inventory min-max levels.
  • Oversee physical inventories of all facilities.
  • Drive a company vehicle to and from various locations.
  • Hold the operational teams accountable for the policies and procedures that are set by MBI.
  • Implement inventory controls/processes to multiple locations.
  • Provide guidance to MBI warehouse staff by coaching and utilizing best in class inventory practices.
  • Identify, develop and set-up consignment programs with MBI key suppliers.
  • Manage and write standard operating procedures tied to inventory management.

  • Must be able to work in a team environment.
  • Must be detail oriented.
  • Must be able to perform the essential functions in a fast paced and high stress environment.
  • Must possess exceptional customer services skills and the ability to work with current and potential customers, both internal and external.
  • Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite.

Education and Experience

High school diploma, GED or equivalent.

Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Inventory Management. 


Licenses and Certifications

  • Valid driver's license.
