Mechanical Integrity Engineer (14981)

The Mechanical Integrity Engineer will be part of a Mechanical Integrity Team, working with other Company Mechanical Integrity Specialists.  The Mechanical Integrity Team will be responsible for coordinating and implementation of Williams Mechanical Integrity Program (OSHA/PSM) across the Midstream function at the facility level. Activities will include guiding the organization in Mechanical Integrity inspections and repairs while working with Operations and Contractors during all phases of these efforts with focus on safety and reliability.



  • Acts as Project Manager for all Midstream Mechanical Integrity assets including tanks, vessels, and pipes.
  • Provide Operations with inspection plans and testing scopes and schedules
  • Re-commission equipment in accordance with Industry practices, applicable federal, state and local codes and company policies.
  • Maintain inspection schedules and relative risk values for all Tanks, Vessels, pipe segments and above ground storage tanks in the Computerized MaintenanceManagement System


Required qualifications

  • Bachelors in Engineering, mechanical preferred, OR at least 8 years mechanical integrity experience with the required API certifications required;
  • Certifications: API 510, 570, 653, ANST Level II UT/MT/PT, required;
  • 8 years experience directing the inspection, repair and alteration of ASME Div I and Div II coded vessels.


Preferred qualifications 

  • Professional Engineer (PE) designation
  • API 579 & 580 certifications


Williams Corporation will pay relocation costs for this position.


This position will be filled at the posted level and within the salary range if commensurate to the experience (i.e., skills, abilities & knowledge) of successful candidate; however if unable to be filled at this level, the position may be filled with a respective competitive market based on the experience of the selected candidate
