Responsibilities:

Works with Southwest Wyoming Operations Teams, Producers, Gas Management and Outside Contractors to assure daily commitments are met safely and efficiently over the entire Southwest Wyoming System.

Candidates must possess excellent technical, administrative, and interpersonal skills. This position requires a comprehensive knowledge of facility operations, maintenance, and commercial impacts of maintenance activities. Performs complex maintenance and technical tasks and may lead teams in projects or work assignments of major scope or unusual complexity. Regularly makes independent decisions and is responsible for coaching others to do the same. Assumes responsibility for interpretation of business focus and coordinates with Leaders and Operations Technicians to ensure overall success. Make decisions which impact the area's economics and profitability. Maintains confidentialities, demonstrates and encourages professional conduct, and ensures ethical business behavior. Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of facilities and promotes protection of personnel, the community, and the environment.


Applicant must effectively manage our Mechanical Integrity and Maintenance Management System, plan/ manage/schedule/communicate shutdown activities. Proactively identify and resolve the root cause of mechanical failures. Utilize the Baseline Maintenance program (oil analyses, engine/turbine analysis, vibration studies, etc.), evaluate operational data, and lead effective response. Provide training and mentor area personnel on best maintenance practices.  Manage and lead small project installations and ensure quality control practices and construction standards are maintained throughout the area

Qualifications:

5+ years of experience gathering operations and maintenance with experience in project management preferred.
Understanding of Williams organization roles and responsibilities to influence change.
High school diploma required. VoTech certificate, Associates technical degree in Instrumentation, Controls Technology, Electrical, Mechanical or Plant Operations preferred, however equivalent work experience will be considered.
Leadership skills and good communications skills (written and verbal) are required. Individual must be self-motivated with a willingness and ability to work unsupervised.
Presentation and public speaking skills necessary to complete public awareness promotions.


Requires excellent verbal and written communications skills. Familiarity with Microsoft Office products is required. The successful candidate will be a team player.

 

The position will be based out of Green River but candidates are not limited to living in Green River or Rock Springs.
