Overview:

Responsible for operation of Wyoming Asset Team producing properties including producing wells and associated production facilities, including compression, water handling and disposal facilities, gas gathering systems and measurement facilities. Requires a very high safety culture and leadership skills in order to ensure sustainable strong HES performance. Excellent teamwork and communication skills required to drive the operation’s future profitability and success. Direct reports include field operators and roustabouts, which are a mix of company and contract employees. Strong communications skills required, both oral and written.

Responsibilities:

1.Drive continued improvements in Safety Culture and ensure safe and environmentally responsible work practices by clearly communicating and living HES values, proactively managing contract labor force, ensuring timely completion of and participating in field audits and inspections. Be a proactive participant and leader in the Company BBS, GPS assessments and auditing programs, and ensure timely investigation and effective corrective actions are implemented on incidents/near misses to prevent recurrence. Ensure that all Company and contract employees remain in compliance with safety and environmental rules and regulations. Management of company and contract labor force, with emphasis on leadership, teamwork, respect, open communication, and safe-clean-responsible operations.
2.Lead, supervise, and provide direction for all employees and contractors working within the area of responsibility. Manage contractor usage to achieve safe and cost-effective results. Includes providing coaching, mentoring, and conducting employee performance appraisals.
3.Ensure operating and regulatory compliance procedures are followed (and lead development of new procedures as required) by company and contract personnel in order to maximize the value and efficiency of existing operation. 
4.Work closely with engineers and field operators to continuously review and optimize production and control costs. Participate in periodic detailed production review meetings with operating personnel. Positively interact with office and field personnel in a manner that creates an atmosphere of creativity, cooperation, and attention to the safety of all personnel, the environment and company assets. Participate in organizational goal setting and lead preparation of business reviews for direct employees to communicate organizational performance.
5.Work closely with Superintendent and Construction and Maintenance personnel to plan work scope and timing of new facilities and maintenance of existing infrastructure (facilities & pipelines). Goal is to ensure safe, clean responsible overall operations to support the successful business model. 
6.Plan and coordinate future operational events. Communicate the plans and results to team members and management.
7.Maintain good working relationships to help ensure that Marathon lives its values with key stakeholders, including contract companies, regulatory agencies and members of the public. 
8.Prepare/ review/approve production reports, incident reports, incident investigations and corrective actions, P-card and T&E card transactions, work orders, purchase orders.

Qualifications:

Degree: High school degree or the equivalent required. Engineering degree preferred.

Computer Proficiencies: Excel, Word, Powerpoint
Work Experience: Five or more years in production operations and safety performance management. Experience in gas production and compression operations is preferred. Prior supervisory experience preferred.
