The Recruiting Manager leads the recruitment process and the overall utilization of MBI Recruiters. Additionally, the Recruiting Manager is fully responsible for the development of the recruitment process and the implementation of recruitment innovations. The Recruiting Manager solves all issues that evolve during hiring job vacancies and ensures a positive experience for the candidate in the process.


Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Develop and implement strategic initiatives for recruiting diverse talent in a multi-site organization.
  • Manage full cycle recruiting process to meet the various staffing goals across all levels within multiple business units.
  • Develop strong relationships and partner with managers, business leaders and HR representatives.
  • Work closely with managers to maximize effectiveness of recruiting process.
  • Track and report key metrics designed to measure and predict staffing activity.
  • Follow up regularly with the respective hiring managers and candidates to ensure timeliness of the recruitment process.
  • Actively participate in all staffing related activities and engage in cross functional projects.
  • Other HR related duties as assigned by the Director of Human Resources.
  • Set the social media communication strategy for different job profiles and functions in the organization.
  • Conduct job interviews and negotiate offers of employment for the managerial job positions (or key jobs in the organization).
  • Monitor the labor legislation and implement required changes to keep the process compliant.
  • Manage and develop the team of Recruiters.
  • Act as a single point of contact for managers regarding recruitment topics.
  • Design recruitment training for Recruiters and line managers.
  • Drive a company vehicle to and from various locations for job fairs, recruitment events, etc...


Required Skills

  • Clear understanding of the end to end recruitment lifecycle processes.
  • Proficient computer skills including the use of Microsoft Office Suite. Medium to advanced skill level with Microsoft Excel.
  • Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent negotiation skills.
  • Must possess knowledge of DOT and FMCSA requirements.
  • Must be professional in daily interactions with employees, candidates and customers.
  • Must be able to work in a team environment.
  • Must be able to perform the essential functions in a fast paced and high stress environment.
  • Must possess exceptional customer service skills and the ability to work with current and potential customers, both internal and external.

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or other related business field required.


Licenses and Certifications

Valid driver's license.
