Position available in the Land Administration group. You will be part of a exploitation and development effort with an active leasing program. You will have an opportunity to participate from the ground up with the Asset Team members as MOC acquires undeveloped acres and develops its business strategy.

  • Creation of MOC lease and contract spatial for domestic United States which will be used in standard map projects for this area. Also responsible for quality control check for all polygons generated to ensure accuracy of data provided on maps
  • Possess or gain knowledge of  survey systems including Tax Parcels and Tax Jurisdictions as well as familiarity with metes and bounds legal descriptions.
  • Assist staff and management with preparation of mapping presentations for both internal and external business and technical review (trades, acquisitions, divestitures).
  • Possess or pursue an understanding of the Tobin Lease and Contract application and the data and how it correlates to the spatial data.
  • Understand and adhere to existing data management structures, processes and procedures. Work with NAPO – Land community to ensure continued data management processes within the Land Organization.


Bachelors Preferred


Geography, Mathematics or other Technical or Scientific degree

Computer Proficiencies:

Experience with ESRI-ArcGIS, connecting to Oracle DB (SDE, TOW and IHS). Ability to perform geo-processing, transform metadata (shape file, coverage, ASCII, imagery, drawing exchange formats). Must be proficient in Excel and other MS applications.

2-5 years experience supporting Land Professionals, Geologists, or Engineers using mapping disciplines.
