Supervisor PERK Operations

  • Management of all Pipeline Emergency Repair Kit (PERK) facility operating activities including Shared Team Members when assigned to support PERK
  • Owner of PERK Procedures & Standards
    • Champion for all PERK specific documents
    • Owner of all PERK facility operating documents with responsibility to develop, update, and maintain
    • Accountable for SIP implementation and compliance as it pertains to PERK activities
  • Overall Responsibility for PERK Equipment Readiness
    • Management of inventory levels consistent with established policies and procedures
      • Determine the quantities required in inventory for each of the individual components
      • Review Williams assets in relation to sizes and quantities to determine proper distribution of PERK equipment
      • Evaluate component usage to determine replacement decisions
    • Monitor inventory transfers and track the current care custody and control owners for all equipment transferred out of PERK inventory.
    • Responsible for evaluating the surplus material from capital projects and provide recommendations for equipment to be included in PERK inventory consistent with Williams inventory control procedures
    • Manage technology upgrades to PERK capabilities for both individual components and overall system design during regularly scheduled review cycles
    • All equipment to be maintained and stored in proper working condition consistent with component Operating & Maintenance manuals
    • Manage all refurbishment and maintenance efforts for PERK equipment when returned to PERK inventory
    • Manager of the PERK FIT team
  • Warehouse Yard Management
  • Management of PERK Finances





  • Working with peers and other leaders to ensure that priorities between all groups and functions are aligned.
  • Identifying and executing administrative resource optimization opportunities and best practices.


Customers / Strategic Support

  • Understand customer needs and contractual requirements and ensure both are integrated into the system operation strategy.
  • Serve as resource for the commercial marketing group with regard to customer issues and customer contract negotiations as they relate to PERK.
  • Develop effective relationships with major customers and integrate their needs into team and area goals and daily team performance.


Financial Performance / Cost Management

  • Ensure procedures are in place and deployed that ensure SOX compliance.
  • Ensure consistent utilization of economic evaluation tools and consistent criteria by which expense decisions, both O&M and capital, are made.
  • Ensure consistent and accurate expense and capital forecasting.

Performance Management / Leadership

  • Demand compliance with SIP and regulatory requirements.
  • Demonstrate Williams’ Leadership Standards, in word and action.
  • Collaborate with peers to continually improve Midstream practices in areas such as safety, reliability, compliance, facility operations and organization.


Performance Measures:




  • Performance against financial targets.
  • Performance against goals and metrics established each year.
  • Performance against SIP leading and trailing measures and through periodic audits.
  • Positive impact of improved maintenance practices on profitability and EVA.
  • Performance against unit cost metrics targets.




  • Feedback from customers and the commercial group regarding PERK readiness and capability.

  • Knowledge of offshore pipeline and facility construction, operations and ability to identify opportunities to optimize economic performance
  • 10 Years of related industry experience
  • Proven ability to develop teams, share objectives, and deliver results.
  • Understanding of commercial agreements
  • Understanding of budgeting and forecasting processes and economic evaluation tools
  • Knowledgeable of SIP or similar safety procedures and practices, and demonstrated ability to positively impact safety performance
  • Familiarity with USCG and BSEE regulatory requirements and environmental permits
